*DATA HELP

In the Geophysics of North America CD-ROM access software, each data set
that can be displayed is summarized with a label file.  This information
defines (among other things) certain default conditions:

If user selects -		Then

View Image              Spatial dimensions are known
All Area                Limits of view range are used
Title Image             Description & units can be displayed
Default Palette         Colors are spread over data value range

The label file should have a name which is identical to the data file.
The software will add an .LBL extension to this name to distinguish the
label file from the data file.
